Online and bored – Pretend!

IF you are online and bored THEN perhaps you should consider the possibility that YOU are the problem? Clever, huh? Bet you neva’ thought about that!

if you are bored and online just pretend to be someone that is not
The boredom is IN YOU, baby..

Well duh! If you are the problem then the answer is so ridiculously simple. Stoopid. Just don’t get too hung up on the idea, ’cause that just leads you down the path to the Dark Side.

online and bored pretend to be someone else but remember to love your dysfunctional self
You’re perfect – truly. Those people who decry this fact know nothin’.

Pretend to be someone else!

Hey yeh! Pretend to be someone famous or clever or rich or powerful or well-dressed or beautiful – actually, best not to focus too much on beautiful, ’cause there’s a statistically high probability that you ain’t, and the effort involved in changing your appearance sufficiently to be happy with the results is, well… it’s just an effort, really. On the other hand, if you are already beautiful then we of the online and bored community must ask you just why you are here in the first place? But we digress…

So…

If you’re not gonna be y’all then who ya gonna be? It’s a tricky question. We can’t all be as level-headed and brilliantly successful as Taylor Swift,

If youre online and bored then lets aim at being someone thats at least of this planet theres only room for so much perfection in this imperfect world
Let’s aim at being someone that’s at least of this planet. There’s only room for so much perfection in this imperfect world.

…so perhaps aim a bit lower? Certainly we should not aim too high, ’cause then we can be accused of positivity, and that’s just yuck.

There's limits to how much positivity the online and bored can handle ya know.
There’s limits to how much positivity the online and bored can handle ya’ know.

mmm… who to be? Or NOT to be! That, is the question.

online and bored how about pondering living the life of someone else but not
Who wants to sit and ponder existence? Not us. We’re happy to just interpolate ourselves into someone else’s existence as a form of hedonistic entertainment.

Well, we certainly don’t want to be Hamlet, so that cuts the list down a little.

Nah. It’s all too hard, and it’s gone on too long. We’re leaving that line of thinking, and going back to blissful online boredom.
